Okay obviously there isn’t just two kinds of media but for what we’re talking about here there kind of is and if you get things mixed up it’s an easy way to fail. Basically; there are two kinds of stuff you’re going to be making (or wanting to make, or telling others to make depending on your job role, etc), stuff for;
Outreach, which needs to grab attention in a sea of other things and direct someone somewhere, usually a website page (i wouldn’t advertise events as a first-point-of-contact, too committal)
